UX Writer
Spotware Systems Ltd is looking for a UX Writer to join our Localisation team. The ideal candidate is a skilled linguist dedicated to crafting clear, simple and consistent UI microcopy for the cTrader ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Creating new texts and editing existing ones in Russian and English for multiple products: web, desktop, mobile, mailer etc. UI texts only.
- Collaborating with product managers, designers and localisation managers.
- Working with a native English proofreader.
- Maintaining the multi-product text database, enriching the glossary, creating a Russian style guide and improving the English one.
- Proofreading non-product texts in English: legal texts, website articles, company letters, etc.
- Researching trends in UX writing, optimising processes and improving workflows.
Requirements:
- Competence in working with UI texts: headers, buttons, context menus, tooltips, notifications, error messages, definitions, disclaimers, etc.
- English C1, Russian native. Work experience with other languages is a big plus.
- Experience working with Figma, YouTrack, Google Spreadsheets and Crowdin.
- High communication skills. Collaborating with different stakeholders is 50% of the job.
- Global approach towards texts with localisation and internationalisation in mind.
- Inquisitive mind. Our UX writer will need to learn a lot about fintech and forex trading.
