Senior Technical Writer For cTrader Algo

Spotware Systems Ltd is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join our growing Education team. Our ideal candidate is a skilled writer who can engage with complex domain models and software architectural solutions, and relay them to B2C and B2B clients in simple yet captivating terms.

Responsibilities:

• Creating, editing, and maintaining documentation about our algorithmic trading solution by following the docs-as-code approach
• Producing detailed ‘how-tos’ and short ‘cookbook’-style tutorials about an object-oriented algorithmic trading API
• Creating new trading algorithms with C#, Python and using these algorithms as examples in technical documentation
• Producing materials for video tutorials about algorithmic trading (scripts, instructions for video producers, and raw footage)
• Collaborating with developers to establish a detailed central knowledge hub for end users
• Autonomously suggesting new areas for improvement of existing documentation

Requirements:

• Excellent writing skills along with profound knowledge of English grammar and procedural style.
• Experience with writing code in any high-level object-oriented programming language. Experience with C# or Python would be considered an advantage
• Competence in working with code snippets, UML diagrams, UX writing, and API writing. 
• Good knowledge of Markdown and the docs-as-code approach. 
• Solid understanding of the Forex and/or Fintech industry.
• University degree in Journalism, Media & Communications, Computer Science, or any related field.
