For brokers and prop firms, the real value of a platform tends to emerge over time: in how much functionality comes included, what flexibility it gives and how well it holds up as the business grows. cTrader stands out with a broad set of built-in capabilities – and beyond that, a wide range of add-ons, most of which are available at no extra cost, helping brokers reduce future infrastructure and expansion spend.

Those add-ons cover functionality that many providers charge extra. Among them is the Open API service, a reflection of cTrader's positioning as an Open Trading Platform™. It gives brokers the flexibility to build their own front-end solutions for traders within the platform, connect third-party services, personalise UI through plugins and develop custom tools tailored to their traders' needs.

There is also a group of cost-free add-ons focused on retention and engagement. They help brokers stay in touch with traders and keep them involved. Broker-to-trader mobile push notifications and blotter messaging provide direct in-platform channels for targeted outreach. Built-in market news and an economic calendar help traders follow market updates and plan around key events without stepping outside the platform.

Further to this, cTrader provides access to in-app executable signals from Trading Central and Autochartist. Trade ideas appear directly on charts, complete with pattern analysis and entry levels and can be acted on just in a couple of clicks. It’s a meaningful upgrade of the trading environment, available for a one-time setup fee with no recurring monthly fees.

cTrader also offers a Single Sign-On (SSO) package enabling full integration of CRM, KYC and payment flows into cTrader. Traders can open demo or live accounts and handle account-related actions directly through embedded broker pages inside the platform. KYC and deposit flows work the same way. Both can be completed inside cTrader through embedded flows, so brokers keep the key steps of the onboarding process within their own environment, and, as a result, create a smoother client journey. The package is available to brokers on request.

On the acquisition side, cTrader Invite, another tool included at zero cost, helps brokers increase partner-driven referrals. With invite links and QR codes that can be shared in just a few taps, partners can promote specific cTrader products, attract traders more effectively and track attribution in real time. This solution gives brokers visibility into partner performance and a stronger flow of prospective clients.

For brokers serving UK clients, cTrader also offers spread betting as a native add-on to the core package. It works alongside Forex and CFD hedging accounts and uses the same market data and liquidity providers, so brokers gain one more way to strengthen their offering. To support this setup, a dealing desk is required, and it too is available at no charge. As spread betting is built into cTrader as an account type, traders can move between CFD trading and spread-betting accounts quickly across all versions of the platform.

Taken together, cTrader free add-ons give brokers far more choice than they would usually get with legacy platforms. With broader functionality already available within cTrader, brokers can reduce their reliance on external tools and keep the total cost of ownership much lower over time.
