Blood Donation Drive at Spotware: Supporting Cyprus health centres

On 5th December, Spotware hosted its third Workplace Blood Donation Drive at its Limassol office, bringing together employees and their families to donate blood for patients across Cyprus. By holding this initiative on a regular basis, Spotware provides steady support to local health services and helps address real, everyday needs. The Donation Drive is part of the “I Work at Spotware and I Care” programme, which brings together community-focused activities and is guided by values of care, generosity and social engagement.

A small act with real weight

In Cyprus, hospitals are in constant need of donor blood to care for people in difficult and often unexpected situations. Initiatives like this ensure that help is there when it is needed most, and each donation becomes part of the wider effort to keep hospitals and clinics supplied with this vital resource. The Spotware team and their family members, from first-time donors to those who join every drive, were eager to take part, knowing how much this support can help patients.

During Spotware’s Blood Donation Drive, the medical team from the Cyprus Blood Establishment carried out the full procedure on site, from brief health checks through to donation and recovery. The process was carefully organised, so donors felt safe and well looked after.
