Finance & Accounting Officer
Spotware Systems is looking for a motivated Mid-Level Accountant to join our finance team. This role is a great fit for someone who already has some experience in accounting and wants to continue growing in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records and assist with general ledger entries
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Prepare VAT returns and support timely submissions in accordance with Cyprus legislation
- Perform weekly payments to vendors
- Assist during audits and liaise with external auditors and advisors
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and proper documentation of all financial transactions
Persyaratan
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Basic knowledge of Cyprus VAT and tax regulations
- Familiarity with IFRS principles
- Good command of MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)
