Spotware successfully held a donation drive in Limassol, a heartfelt initiative developed by employees to support victims of the recent devastating wildfires in Cyprus. The drive once again highlighted Spotware’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the local community and reinforced the values behind the company’s “I Work at Spotware and I Care” initiative, which integrates social responsibility into the core of its corporate values and fosters a culture of compassion, generosity and community engagement.
Stepping up in a time of crisis
As wildfires displaced many families across Cyprus, leaving them without homes or basic necessities, Spotware employees came together with urgency and empathy to collect essential items - clothes, footwear, non-perishable food, water, electronic and hygiene items. Building on the momentum of current events, the drive saw an enthusiastic turnout of team members eager to make a real difference.
With a list of confirmed donation points compiled and shared internally, employees not only brought the necessary items but also helped coordinate the delivery and distribution of goods to various collection points across Limassol. Thanks to their collective effort, the donation process went smoothly and successfully channelled much-needed support to affected communities.
Every small contribution counted, and the Spotware team was proud to be part of the national effort to restock donation points and provide relief to those in urgent need. To further support relief efforts, Spotware made a direct donation to the Central Bank of Cyprus Wildfire Support Fund.
