On 22nd February, the Spotware team came together for a heartwarming charity dog walk at Dog Valley Rescue Centre, reaffirming our commitment to social responsibility and animal welfare. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, we spent the day walking, playing with and showing love to the shelter’s rescue dogs while also making a significant contribution to their care. In addition to our hands-on support, Spotware donated essential supplies, including food, treats, blankets and other necessities to help provide the dogs with the comfort and nourishment they need.

Dog Valley Rescue Centre: A Shelter in Need
Dog Valley Rescue Centre is a dedicated organisation that provides refuge to over 300 abandoned and abused dogs from Limassol and Paphos. The shelter works tirelessly to offer food, medical care and safe housing for these animals while striving to find them forever homes in the UK, Germany, Russia, and other countries. However, the centre is currently facing an urgent crisis as it is being forced to close due to the sale of its land. With a looming October deadline, Dog Valley Rescue Centre has issued an urgent appeal for adoptions and fostering to ensure that all their dogs find safe and loving homes before time runs out. The shelter’s staff and volunteers work tirelessly to provide care for these dogs, but they rely heavily on donations and community support. Every contribution, whether financial, material, or through adoption, makes a significant difference in their mission to protect and rehome these vulnerable animals.
A Day to Remember
Our charity dog walk was more than just an event. It was an experience that touched hearts, strengthened our team spirit and brought smiles to both humans and animals alike. The day ended with a well-deserved corporate lunch where we celebrated our collective efforts and reflected on the importance of giving back.
