DWH Developer

Spotware Systems is looking for an experienced Data Warehouse (DWH) Developer. You will be responsible for designing and developing solutions for our DWH to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance. You will be required to deal with complex data models and object-relational database mapping while producing complex data marts and reports. You will also be actively participating in product development and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Understand thoroughly the architecture, data structures and fundamental design principles of the corporate DWH
• Analyze, implement and modify the data structures within the DWH to adapt them to the business needs and add enhanced functionality
• Implement and modify the Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes from various data sources into the DWH
• Collaborate with the business analysts and report developers to adapt the DWH structure to the business intelligence applications
• Maintain proficiency in integration methods required to link the DWH to other systems
• Research and stay abreast of changes in DWH technologies

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in database design and modeling for DWH and business intelligence applications
• Intuitive understanding of dataflows and background computing involved in data processing
• Good knowledge of SQL and PLPGSQL
• Good understanding of SQL execution plans and ways to tweak them
• Experience in developing ETL procedures
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, security issues, etc.
• English level - no less than Upper-Intermediate

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of Tableau BI
• Experience in database deployment
• Experience in the FinTech domain
• Basic knowledge of the FX market domain
